Six Recommendations

  1. Resize the image/video on the main page as it takes up a majority of the page. On a smartphone, the size also takes up half the page.

  1. Font used for H1 headers does not look very professional. They are using the Roboto font family, which looks like Comic Sans font. I would suggest using Helvetica, Times New Roman, or Arial.

  1. When trying to find minors to go with the major, you need to drill down a few pages to get to the page that has all that information. I would suggest a separate page specifically for all the programs that can be taken and linked to the specific majors that can be paired with.

  1. As you are trying to apply to Fort Hays online, you are taken to an outside page called Workday. I believe that this can be confusing as whether you are a new student or a returning student, and you would need to use the “Sign In” button. I would suggest a “Create Account” link, separate from the “Sign In” button, to differentiate the two.

  1. To get to the Full Tuition and Fee Schedule, you need to click on several links (4) throughout the pages to find the PDF that gives you that schedule. Would be nice to only have to click one or two at the most links to pull that up.

  1. Personal note: Calendar link for syncing with third party apps like Google Calendar, need to be re-added each semester. The link should not need to be re-added, and just have the newest updates pushed through so that it will also update the Google Calendar as well.
